The Seed for Life, Feed for Life Trustees are pleased to announce that they have achieved their project goal of developing a sustainable, self-sufficient Farming and Feeding programme in the Community of Bemvu in Malawi. This project will now continue to be a locally managed self-financing project which will help in the eradication of poverty and hunger in Bemvu.
We could not have achieved this success without the generous support and donations from the residents of Seil and Luing and beyond. CORRA (our major grant provider) and other donors. A big “Thank You” to those who have supported our projects through their generous donations and supporting the many fundraising events.
We will continue to develop and support our Scholarship Programme which finances and supports pupils through their Secondary Education (which has to be paid for in Malawi) and helps them to break out of their traditional poverty cycle through better education and improved job opportunities.
